TIME OUT

I think I'm in a time out.
Yep. Pretty sure. Lady spotted the pile in the living room, picked me up and deposited me on the balcony and closed the screen door!
Same thing happened yesterday when I squatted on the rug and watered it. She had me on the balcony in a hurry. Then came the rug to dry.
I have no excuse. Both balcony doors were open. I knew what to do. Just wanted Lady to take me downstairs. I didn't go bump the door or stand and stare at her to let her know I wanted to go out. I just ... went.
She didn't say anything. I think she was biting her tongue trying not to scold me.
Don't think I'm getting a treat today.

  1. Isn't there an AGE thing here......that you can age disgracefully? That's no reason to be deprived of hummus and carrots in our opinion! At least you can watch what's happening in the 'hood out there.

  4. Aww, buddy. It's just taking a little time to train Lady. Those treats will come soon!

  5. Oh, don't worry yourself. It can happen to the best of us. It takes time to train the humans. You must be patient with them.

  7. First I have to say thank you for changing the post title! That makes us all feel much better. Phew!

We know that as older dog's it's sometimes harder and harder to do things the right way. (We've done it too recently.) We know that your Lady has lot's of patience and will eventually get over it. We think you'll get a treat Marley, maybe even 2.

    Happy Thanksgiving my sweet love.

    Hugs,
    Lily Belle
