LIFE AFTER MARLEY

I miss him every day. I have such a huge hole in me. I have now moved back to the U.S. to help my parents. My stuff is unpacked in my room. I have Marley reminders everywhere. I still cry.  I prayed to God for another little dog who needs a home. I think I've found one. I read so many doggie profiles on rescue sites. Many were senior dogs, but emotionally I just can't handle a senior dog right now. One little guy especially caught my eye. He's a nine month old doxiepoo. This is already his second home in his short life. First home had allergy issues. He was there five months. Second home has three other big dogs, and say he needs more attention than they can give him, and personal issues. They care enough to find him the home he needs. I plan to go pick him up in another city Wednesday. I can't wait. Being back in the U.S. is weird. I've lived in Asia since 1996, except for three years. I'm thankful to be here to help my mom.
So come back and meet Teddy. I'm trying to decide whether he'll have a blog or not. What do you think? Title?

  2. We think it's wonderful. No pup can replace Marley, but sounds like Teddy might help fill the hole. Can imagine what the return to the US is like after so long overseas. He may help you adjust. We also think Teddy should have a blog. When Daisy died, I just kept the same blog Title.

Oh 'Lady', it is sooooooo good to see you post - especially as it carries such news; as one who has traveled and lived in other continents and am readjusting (still, after two years!) to Scottish life, I can appreciate that it will take a while. I hope that you find much fulfillment in being of service to your parents.

I also look forward very much to the arrival of Teddy!!! Perhaps keep this blog running and just 'rebrand'; that way it carries and honours the history of Marley, but a fresh colour and new banner/heading would make it new; The piccie of Marley could stay, with his 'dates' noted. Perhaps it could be called Teddy's Tales? Or The Tail of One Teddy... I look forward to new fur-nephew, however it manifests! &*> Huggies, YAM xx

  8. Hugs for you! Think of Marley almost every day! I so enjoyed reading Marley and his Ladies blog, PLEASE continue! You could call it the Marley Brothers or Marley and Company. Life will be better in the US and you will be near your parents. So sad you never received the towels I made for you, but glad in a way, they would make you feel bad! Can't wait to see your new pupper! Take care!

  10. Welcome back to the USA Lady! We are so happy to hear you are getting all settled in. We know how stressful a time this is for you. We miss your Marley every since day also. We have his pictures throughout our house and kiss him every time we go by. He was most special to us.

We can't wait to see pictures of Mr. Teddy!! We bet he is most handsome and will love being around you and your family. Of course Teddy should have a blog. We hope that once things settle down and Teddy gets used to things, that we can get together for a quick visit. I know how much Lily would love to give you some kisses.

Is your e-mail that I have the same?

    Take good care Lady.

    Hugs,
    Lily Belle
