Thief!

It happened so quickly I didn't even know what was going on. Katrina, Lady and I had been to the market to buy lettuce for the tacos. Walking home, a teen in a black tee shirt came running between Lady and Katrina. As he did, he touched Lady's ear and neck. She said it felt really creepy. She reached up and realized he had taken her dangly earring! She wasn't hurt, just mad. She liked that earring. When she told her friends about the thft, one siad, "Oh, I should have told you about this, but you are so tall I didn't think they could reach you!" Ha! Apparently they usually target older women who wear gold jewelry. Lady's earring was silver. He must have thought it was valuable.
I don't like the rain very much. I get so dirty that Lady gives me a shower. It rained all day long! I didn't have a chance. Lady climbed the mountain in the rain so she had a shower, too. Belle came over this AM. She is a very good friend of mine. She is a Journalist. Today, she helped Lady with her Chinese, and Lady helped her with her English. I just sat in their laps! After all, I'm just a little dog!
