MONKEY BUSINESS

You should see how fast Lady can move when she hears the monkeys on the balconies! She hollers at me to get in the house and she quickly closes the balcony screen doors. There was quite a ruckus! Lady tried to get snaps but they were jumping around too fast. I knocked over one of her new flower pots. Oops. So, my sunbeam time was curtailed today.
We've had very strong winds, no earthquakes, but thunder and rain. Our highs are only 67 and lows at night are in the low 40's. Lady made me wear a jacket again to go out.
Padma came up to play for a bit. She tried to give me her Milky Bar. Lady intervened. But I got my star doggie treats.

  1. Sounds a lot like our Grandparents home! They do get monkeys coming down the hills to raid whichever house that had it's doors or windows unlocked or prayer altars. Oh, the monkey stories Mommy could tell. :)
Some areas felt the tremors from the earthquake off Aceh but not us. Probably because we live in a landed property and not an apartment. Glad there's no tsunami!

    1. SO glad to hear you are safe. SO thankful it was a slip-strike shift and not subduction. I listen to the news! Our friends in Sri Lanka said all their neighbors were so frightened and headed for high ground.

    1. Not partic, but if it gets me out the door I will stand still and get it on. This morning we saw chunks of cement that they broke off in their rampage!

  4. Monkeys....wow!

Marley,we think Padma is worth her weight in treats. You'll get lots of extra treats when she's around. But don't let those monkeys get any.

  5. We love Padma! And we can tell she absolutely loves you! How kind of her to want to share her candy bar with you (but we all know, that is a BIG no-no!)

Watch out for them flying monkeys Marley!

    Hugs,
    Lily Belle
