Wet Stuff

Rain. Snow.
Rain. Snow.
Flakes are dancing; drip drops flow.
Snow. Rain. Snow. Rain.
Not quite cold enough to freeze it again.
Rain. Snow. Rain. Snow.
Squishes beneath my paws just so.
Snow. Rain. Snow. Rain.
Quickly pee and poo-back inside again.
Where do the monkeys go?
Where are street dogs hiding?
How can birds still fly
While I'm inside residing?
More snow. More snow.
I sink in the mush, in the slush. I go
Back inside. Back inside
By the heater in my blankie
I'll abide.
