HE'S BACK!

Puppy Duke appeared again last evening after going missing for 48 hours. Lady was taking me to Brooke & Erin's house for a sleepover at about 6:00 pm, and there he was! We have no idea where he's been. He was so happy to see me that it got to be annoying! He climbs on my back and bites my ears. His tail wags in circles. He was happy to see Lady, too. His mama stayed very close while we visited.
Our landlord got engaged! His mama has been working on the arrangement for awhile. That's the way it is done here. He sent over a humungous basket of fruit, and a box of chocolates. Lady is headed for Thailand for two back to back meetings, so I am hanging out with one of my timeshare families. I took the fruit for them, but Lady took the chocolates! The family will be stringing the lights on their house soon!
Thanks for all your prayers and POTP for Puppy Duke! It worked!

  7. We can rest easy now that Duke is back where he belongs. That little bugger decided to take a walk about and gave us all a good scare. We sure hope he continues to stay safe. Sounds like Mama has a close eye on him now. Does the stringing of the lights have a special meaning? Is it related to your Landlord getting engaged? Hope you get invited to the wedding Marley!

Good job Lady on keeping the chocolates! We would have done the same thing :) Have a safe trip!

    1. Yes, Lily, it does. They string down Christmas lights all down the front of the building of the family's home. It rains lights. They do it at the wedding venue as well. Our neighbor's son just got married and they had tons of lights for three nights.

  9. Ooo, I'm so glad he's back, he's such a cutie. We don't have street dogs here, I don't understand how no one gives them a proper home like we have. The Ogre says it's because we are lucky.
